When Doron Mashal opened the doors of Vegas Foto in 1999, he had one thing in mind: creating a specialty store that could offer quality photographic equipment at low prices. He utilized volume purchasing to get the best deals from manufacturers such as Sony, Nikon, Canon, Fuji, and JVC. Today, Vegas Foto remains the only camera store on the Las Vegas Strip to offer both point-and-shoot and digital single-lens reflex cameras. Vegas Foto also provides a wide range of camera accessories, such as memory cards, flashes, and backpacks, to name a few. Conveniently located close to hotels, the store serves both tourists and locals.

Vegas Foto sells a diverse selection of cameras in the amateur and professional ranges. Its large inventory extends to video cameras, from high-definition camcorders for special occasions to smaller models for home use. Vegas Foto provides a complete line of high-grade tripods, as well.

Vegas Foto prides itself on courteous, personalized customer service, and its sales staff is intimately familiar with the store's products. Many of them are professional photographers with years of experience, and some are Certified Photographic Consultants, trained by the Photo Marketing Association International (PMA). They see their job as educating the public about photographic equipment. To that end, Vegas Foto maintains membership in the PMA and sends its employees to major trade shows to stay current on the latest technology.

Vegas Foto also stocks camera phones and other types of mobile devices, such as the iPhone, iPad, and iPod, as well as cell phones that work both in the United States and in Europe. If a particular product is not in the Vegas Foto inventory, the staff can place a special order.
